Media for the Abington Community Taskforce
Our mission is to create a safe and responsible community for children, youth, and families. The Taskforce serves as an non-profit umbrella organization for a diversity of 30 community organizations, including Abington Township, Abington Police, Abington School District, Abington & Holy Redeemer Hospitals, Abington YMCA and Free Library, and many more. In late 2002 we launched a community web site to keep kids and parents and community members in general informed of safe and healthy activities, events, and programs. Our address is www.abingtonact.org. I would especially draw your attention to the Things To Do pages with subpages for Sports, Special Programs, and Camps.
